Job Description


Overview / Responsibilities:

Wood is currently recruiting for a TL in Reward & T&L process with extensive experience in managing stakehlders as well as team members.


  • The prime responsibility of the Team Lead is to lead and manage service delivery for any one of GSS functions (ELC / Rewards / Resourcing / T&L or Reporting)
  • Build and leverage relationships with stakeholders and process partners (Recruitment, P&O BP’s, Payroll, Timewriting)
  • Assess workload (daily, weekly, monthly) to effective plan for workforce requirements
  • Understand client priorities and problems & help translate actions for the team
  • Lead Customer calls with the stakeholders to address critical issues and ensure governance, and report to SDL and Head - operational excellence
  • Understand and effectively manage the team's governance and performance
  • Manage operational reports (weekly / monthly) as per agreed SLA’s
  • Lead transitions and additional projects in alignment with Target operating Model
  • Support complex or escalated matters and monitor workload of team across multiple locations.
  • Ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction metrics are being managed successfully
  • Use innovation to identify opportunities to optimize processes, decrease costs and increase stakeholders and process partners value
  • Drive process improvements and best practices to optimize processes and systems
  • Set and monitors direction, goals, and expectations for direct reports
  • Coach and mentor team for achieving career aspirations / succession planning
  • Leads and drive participation on employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage Internal audits for their respective functions with minimal noise


Skills / Qualifications: Qualifications:
  • MBA in HR Degree or relevant qualification is ideal, but not essential.
  • Guidance please – English qualification to achieve candidates with a high degree of written/spoken English.
  • Strong skills in Excel and Word.
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Requires 7-10 years of work experience in HR functions
  • Knowledge of HRIS tools (Oracle, SAP preferred), case management tools and exposure to a shared services / BPO / captive environment
  • Possess initiative & drive, with strong desire to continuously improve process and deliver within agreed objective/ Service Level.
  • Ensure efficiency of service centre operations, technology and transaction processes.
  • Establish standards and procedures for handling customers queries, transactions, and administration of human resource programs.
