When our business needs raw materials and services to flow seamlessly into production, we want a Purchasing Team Lead who can manage and coordinate between suppliers and procurement with precision. You will ensure timely availability of goods, maintain production efficiency, ensure uninterrupted production flow, and meet our RM OTIF targets.
Your responsibilities:

  • Convert purchase requests into purchase orders promptly, following SOP and SAP protocols.
  • Ensure raw materials are delivered on time to meet RM OTIF of 85% three weeks before the PP month.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for colour submissions, documentation, and delivery.
  • Work closely with EXIM and freight forwarders to consolidate shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide daily updates on open, closed, and pending POs across all vendors.
  • Maintain leftover RM purchases below 0.5% of total ordered volume.
  • Manage supplier and MQA claims effectively.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by the Purchase Manager.
Your ideal Profile:
  • 4-5+ years of experience in purchasing, ideally within the apparel or textile industry.
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate within India if required.
  • A collaborative mindset and readiness to take on challenges.
