1. Purpose

To consistently achieve Q&D targets on a hourly basis in the respective cell and assure safe operations.

2. Role Description

Conduct Sunrise Meeting to the workmen.
Deploy workmen as per skill matrix & organise resources for production.
Ensure the availability of raw materials as per plan.
Conduct hourly PDCA for quality & delivery performance.
Monitor and review workmen on quality & delivery performance measures & attendance.
Ensure all operations being carried out as per the TMOS and conduct audit on monthly basis.
Audit & improve 2S,unsafe act and conditions, check sheet adherence, Gauge stand condition & Cell Material handling system.
Take corrective actions for in house PDI & customer complaints related to machining Process.
Take corrective action for tool breakage.
Carry out Production posting of components in SAP.

3. Managing points

Motivate & support workmen to implement suggestions.
Identification & Implementation of QCC projects related to policy & MPCP.
Improve first hour output
Achieve hourly output
Achieve shift output

4. Authority

(List the authorizations available for this role)
Re-deploy workmen as per skill matrix.

Stop,correct & restart process in case of non confirmity observed in line.

Graduate Engineer(Mechanical,Automobile,Production) 0-3 years of experience.
Plan & execute setup change based on customer requirement.

To recommend leave requests, permission & man out pass for workmen.

Assess workmen.

Approval of movement slips.
