Management and further development of a local IT team in Pune Coordination and close cooperation with the IT head office in Germany Ensuring the implementation of global IT strategies and standards with a focus on European mindset and quality standards Responsibility for local IT projects and support for international rollouts Communicating with stakeholders in Europe and India to harmonise technical requirements and processes Regular performance review of the team with stakeholders in Europe Promotion of a team-orientated, transparent and solution-oriented way of working Responsibility for resource, cost and budget planning

Qualitfication:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or comparable qualification

Experience

More than 10 years of experience in relevant skills sets and more than 5 years of experience in managing IT teams, ideally in an international environment

Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

Strong understanding of the European way of working and thinking Familiarity with European IT standards, processes and quality requirements Experience in working with German companies or international IT centres Knowledge of business applications (incl. ERP), digital workplace technologies and IT infrastructure Project management skills Strong communication skills, intercultural competence and hands-on mentality Very good written and spoken English skills, good German skills preferable
