Process Overview*

Global Procurement is a part of the overall CSO organization within GBS Enterprise function is responsible for the management and oversight of the Third Party (TP) Program at Bank of America. Global Procurement organization is responsible for sourcing, global purchasing, category procurement strategies, operations, and the establishment of a third party oversight and governance framework for Bank of America.

The Category CoE Team is involved in providing category research and market intelligence strategic support to the Category Management team

The Category Research COE Team Developer will provide strategic support to the Category Management team as it relates to the category research and intelligence function. Will also be responsible for performing research, reporting and related intelligence for the assigned Categories

Responsibilities*

o Responsible for performing centralized research and intelligence gathering for the Category Management Team

o Proactively works with Category Managers and Senior Category Managers to understand current and future needs, and to develop an approach that will maximize analytical support during upfront strategy development and ongoing strategy execution

o Perform in ad-hoc request pipeline with good quality work output

MBA/ECO(Hons)/BTECH/BE

Experience Range*

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Procurement and/or Research, Data Analysis discipline

Foundational skills*

o Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

o Ability to translate short and long term needs of Category Management into clearly defined COE activities

o Strong communication (verbal and written) skills, with ability to present COE outputs to multiple levels of management

o Flexibility to meet strict deadlines but also handle ad-hoc or unplanned requests

Desired skills

Knowledge of Share Point, MS Office, Ariba or other applications supporting Procurement Operations

Work Timings*

11:30 to 20:30 Hrs IST (fixed shift)
