We are seeking an experienced

Team Leader - Freight

to manage our US-based freight operations. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of freight brokers and logistics coordinators, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across the US. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and internal departments to provide exceptional logistics solutions while ensuring profitability and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of freight brokers and logistics coordinators, providing support, training, and guidance to ensure high performance.

Operational Oversight:

Manage day-to-day freight operations, including load planning, dispatch, tracking, and carrier communication for US-based clients.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their freight needs and delivering customized solutions.

Carrier Negotiation:

Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure cost-effective and timely transportation solutions.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost control, and service quality, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Compliance:

Ensure that all freight operations comply with US regulations, including DOT and FMCSA standards.

Problem Solving:

Address any operational issues or challenges that arise, providing swift and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.

Reporting:

Prepare regular performance reports and provide feedback to management on team and operational performance.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

Experience:

2+ years of experience as a

Team Leader

in the US logistics market.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of US freight, shipping regulations, and market dynamics.

Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
