We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader for our Food & Beverage operations in Udaipur, India. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team in one of India's most beautiful tourist destinations.
Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction
Lead, motivate, and train a team of food and beverage staff to deliver outstanding service
Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations
Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs to optimize profitability
Create and adjust staff schedules to meet operational needs and maintain efficiency
Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu quality and timely food preparation
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and boost morale
Assist in developing and implementing new service procedures to enhance guest experience
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all food and beverage areas
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in food safety and hygiene practices
Experience with inventory management and cost control
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
Current Food Safety Certification (required)
Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi and/or local languages is a plus
Familiarity with Indian cuisine and local food preferences is advantageous
