Job Description

Aixperia is looking for an experienced Team Leader - CAD & Parametric Modelling to lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining customized parametric cabinet libraries. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in CAD drafting, parametric modelling, and modular cabinetry systems, along with proven leadership skills to guide, train, and manage a technical design team.

Main Responsibilities

Technical & Modelling Responsibilities

Lead the creation and customization of parametric cabinet libraries for kitchens, wardrobes, and storage systems. Develop rule-based, configurable cabinet models that align with manufacturing constraints and design flexibility. Ensure all parametric models are production-ready, accurate, and optimized for automated manufacturing workflows. Maintain standardization of naming conventions, parameters, constraints, and documentation. Coordinate closely with production, engineering, and software teams to ensure seamless design-to- production integration.

Team Leadership & Management

Manage and mentor a team of CAD and parametric designers. Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to meet project timelines. Review team outputs for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards. Conduct training sessions on parametric modelling best practices and new system updates. Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex modelling challenges.

Process & Improvement

Continuously improve parametric libraries for speed, usability, and scalability. Implement best practices for modular design automation. Support designers and partners by resolving technical modelling issues. Collaborate with product and R&D teams to introduce new cabinet systems and features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD / similar). Hands-on experience in parametric modelling (cabinetry-focused preferred). Deep understanding of modular furniture construction, materials, and hardware. Ability to convert design logic into parametric rules and constraints.Knowledge of manufacturing processes for cabinetry is a strong advantage.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Proven experience leading a technical design or CAD team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Ability to balance hands-on work with leadership responsibilities. Experience5-8 years of experience in CAD and parametric modelling. Minimum 2-3 years in a team lead or senior role preferred. Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, or furniture automation is highly desirable.
