About the department Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardisation and efficiency. The position As a Team Leader- BI, you will Manage people for success-creating focus and clarity, on-going communication to provide context, knowing individuals in the team, coaching and supporting the team\'s development, and leading a mind-set of continuous process improvement. Create Possibilities - of best practices in operations and managing BI CoE team efficiently leading opportunities into stable processes/deliverables from Finance GBS. Collaborate with the other BI teams at Finance GBS and take lead on BI related initiatives. Lead multiple teams as a function supporting across PS regions in Novo Nordisk. You will be also responsible to Drive upskilling of digital capabilities in GBS FP&A wherein, you will Develop a local training offering for GBS FP&A teams in collaboration with other BI teams and Serve as the go to team for technical queries in relation to BI & Analytics digital capabilities. You will also ensure to have optimal workload management through smooth operations daily from people and process point of view. Adhere to data governance, best practice data modelling and BI development model for specific areas. Preparing test cases and executing the test cases. Assisting in user acceptance test, troubleshooting and end-user support. Always go for the biggest impact using the least complex method. Performing rigorous detailed analysis, resolution of issues and data quality check. Providing Business Solutions for reporting and analysis using latest BI tools and technologies in alignment with stakeholder needs (Eg Power Platform, Alteryx, Tableau). Enhance and optimize existing solutions with the aim of 100% automation and superior user satisfaction. Co-develop new innovative solutions for the finance community using latest technologies. Identify and understand hand-offs between individuals / organisations / systems and interfaces. Working closely with diverse stakeholder groups through ongoing pro-active communication and engagement. Bridge between IT platform teams and the BI CoE - Aligning on next steps -critical and non-critical tasks. Qualifications Preferable Master (minimum Bachelor) Information technology from a well-recognised institute. Good academic track record and grades. 6-8 years of experience with business intelligence and analytics, preferably within finance and/or pharma. Good understanding of finance concepts (P&L, Accruals, Receivables) is an advantage. 2 years of Lead people experience is a must. Experienced user of Alteryx and Tableau. Baseline knowledge of Power BI, power platform tools, power apps and power automate is an advantage. Knowledge of SAP BW and queries is preferred. Proficient on working with complex data models and different schemas. Experience in conducting meetings with peers including preparation and facilitation of meetings. Experience in an international work environment. Personal skills: Demonstrate capability to take ownership and be accountable of deliverables assigned. Highly motivated and flexible to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. High quality mind-set, logical thinking, and ability to finalise actions/tasks within deadline. Be able to listen & understand and suggest possible solutions relative to customer needs. Ability to undertake drill down analysis of key business problems and interpret results, generate insights, and recommend strategies. Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. Drive projects, specialist areas and manage formal and informal leaderships tasks. Excellent communication skills in English both written and oral.
