The Team Leader

- Banking Process is responsible for managing a team of backend executives handling core banking operations. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, adherence to SLAs, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement while acting as a key link between management and the operations team.

Key Responsibilities Team Management & Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend banking executives. Allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure workload balance. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Motivate the team to achieve operational and quality targets.

Operational Oversight

Oversee backend banking processes such as account maintenance, transactions processing, KYC, AML checks, loan documentation, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all banking operations. Monitor adherence to SLAs, TATs, and quality benchmarks.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with internal banking policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Conduct quality checks and audits of team output. Handle escalations, error analysis, and corrective action plans. Support internal and external audits.

Reporting & MIS

Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports. Track KPIs, productivity, quality scores, and error rates. Share performance insights and improvement plans with management.

Required Skills & Competencies Technical & Functional Skills

Strong knowledge of banking operations and backend processes. Good understanding of KYC, AML, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting. Experience with core banking systems and workflow tools.

Leadership & Behavioral Skills

Strong people management and decision-making skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage escalations. High integrity and confidentiality.
