Job Description

The AutoCAD Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, drafting, and preparing detailed technical drawings related to civil engineering projects. This role involves using AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate plans and designs for infrastructure, land development, roadways, drainage systems, and other civil engineering projects. The AutoCAD Civil Engineer works closely with civil engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure the designs meet project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft Civil Engineering Plans:

Use AutoCAD software to create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, site grading, utilities, and land development.

Collaborate with Civil Engineers:

Work with senior civil engineers and project managers to understand design specifications and prepare drawings that reflect the intended design.

Maintain Drawing Files:

Organize and maintain drawing files, project documentation, and design revisions, ensuring they are easy to access and comply with company protocols for version control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD:

Strong experience in using AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) to draft civil engineering designs, layouts, and drawings.

Time Management:

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree:

A degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field, is required. In some cases, an associate's degree with relevant work experience may also be acceptable.

Certifications (Optional):

Certification in AutoCAD or Autodesk Civil 3D is advantageous.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
