About the Role:



Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building and mentoring high-performing teams? We are a leading energy comparison services provider for the Australian market, looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join us.

In this pivotal role, you will start on the front lines, using your proven cold-calling expertise to sell energy solutions ( gas and electricity) directly to Australian households and business. Your success on the phones will pave the way for you to

build, train, and lead

your own dedicated team of 10 Cold Callers. This is a unique opportunity to grow from an individual contributor into a people leader, driving performance for a global campaign.

Key Responsibilities:



Phase 1 - Hands-on Selling (as you building a team):



Conduct high-volume cold calls to potential customers in Australia to sell competitive energy plans. Achieve and exceed individual weekly and monthly sales targets. Master the product, scripts, and CRM system to become a subject matter expert.

Phase 2

- Team Building & Leadership:



Recruit, train, and onboard a team of 10 remote cold callers. Set clear performance targets (KPIs) and motivate the team to achieve them. Conduct daily team huddles, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews. Monitor calls, provide constructive feedback, and share best practices to improve conversion rates. Manage team schedules, attendance, and adherence to Australian business hours. Generate daily and weekly performance reports for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Minimum 3-4 years of experience in outbound cold calling, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead/supervisory role (preferably in international B2C/B2B sales). Proven & verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets in a cold-calling environment. Exceptional communication skills in English - neutral accent, excellent clarity, and strong phone etiquette. Experience in hiring, training, and coaching sales agents. Experience building a team from scratch is a big plus. Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems (like Salesforce, HubSpot), diallers, and Google Workspace/MS Office. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a 100% remote setting. Flexible to work during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours. High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.

Required Experience:



Must have prior experience selling gas / electricity in the Australian market. Background in the Energy sector. Understanding of Australian culture and business landscape.
