Financial Statements & Audits

Preparation of Financial Statements as per Schedule III of the Companies Act. Preparation of Audit Schedules for: Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, Internal Financial Control Reporting (IFCR) and Risk Control Matrix (RCM), Cost Audit. Coordinate with Internal Auditors for quarterly reviews and ensure timely closure of audit findings. Liaise with Group Internal Auditors and Statutory Auditors for smooth finalization of audited financials.

2. Statutory Returns & Assessments

Collect GST, PAN, and MSME declarations from suppliers. File MSME Returns within statutory timelines. Prepare and file Monthly WHT (TDS) Returns as per applicable sections. Prepare and file Quarterly TDS Returns and issue Form 16A certificates. Review, reconcile, and file Monthly GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-3B) ensuring matching with GL and ECL balances. Follow up with vendors for unclaimed Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure proper reconciliation. Prepare and file Annual GST Returns. Prepare workings for Tax, GST, Customs, and DGFT assessments and coordinate with consultants for completion.

3. Income Tax

Prepare and remit Advance Tax on a quarterly basis. Compute Deferred Tax and Minimum Alternate Tax (MAT) workings. Compute Annual Income Tax and ensure timely filing of Income Tax Returns.

4. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Define, document, and implement SOPs for all functions. Ensure periodic review and updates based on audit findings and process improvements.

5. Prokura Guidelines

Prepare and maintain Internal Financial Controls (IFC) for each finance work area. Ensure strict adherence to the Prokura guidelines and authorization matrix without deviation. Reinforce accountability and compliance across all financial operations.

MBA or M.Com with 15 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience with one of the Big Four auditing firms is essential. Familiarity with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
