ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities: . Lead the migration process from Vue.js 2.0 to Vue.js 3.0, ensuring compatibility and maintaining functionality across all web applications. . Refactor and optimize existing Vue.js codebase to leverage the new features and improvements introduced in Vue.js 3.0. . Collaborate with the development team to identify and address any compatibility issues or challenges during the migration process. . Implement new features and enhancements using Vue.js 3.0, adhering to best practices and maintaining code quality. . Conduct thorough testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the migrated applications. . Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive and user-friendly interfaces. . Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in front-end development, particularly in the Vue.js ecosystem. . Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team. Qualifications: . Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). . Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in front-end web development. . Strong proficiency in Vue.js 2.0 and solid understanding of its core concepts and ecosystem. . Extensive experience in migrating Vue.js applications from version 2.0 to 3.0. . Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies. . Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers such as Webpack and npm. . Knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to translate design wireframes into high-quality code. . Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. . Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and debug complex issues. . Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. . Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Preferred Skills: . Experience with Vue.js 3.0 and its new features, such as the Composition API and the new rendering mechanism. . Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with Vue.js. . Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and methodologies, such as Jest or Cypress. . Understanding of progressive web application (PWA) development and optimization techniques. . Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling. . Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
