to oversee and guide our travel operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day travel processes, provide direction and motivation to the team, and help achieve sales and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of travel consultants/executives.
Ensure team targets (sales, bookings, customer satisfaction, etc.) are consistently achieved.
Handle escalated customer queries and provide prompt resolution.
Supervise operations related to ticketing, reservations, holiday packages, visa processing, etc.
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, training, and coaching.
Ensure compliance with company policies, travel regulations, and quality standards.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales, productivity, and team performance.
Coordinate with other departments (Accounts, HR, Management) for smooth operations.
Drive customer-centric culture and promote cross-selling/up-selling opportunities.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of travel industry processes (air ticketing, holidays, GDS systems, visas).
Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong sales orientation with customer service focus.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) preferred.
