The Team Leader will drive productivity, ensure quality customer interactions, and maximize store walk-ins and conversions through disciplined monitoring, coaching, and performance management.You'll ensure the team meets daily/weekly/monthly targets while maintaining strong coordination between the digital sales desk and retail stores.Key Responsibilities:- Team Management & Performance- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 15-20 Telecallers handling digital outbound sales calls.- Drive daily targets: - Minimum 140 connected calls per agent - 2hrs 45 mins effective talk time- Store walk-ins and revenue conversions- Track team productivity through dashboards and CRM reports; conduct daily huddles and performance reviews.- Coach team members on communication, sales pitch, objection handling, and follow-up strategy.Sales Operations- Ensure consistent calling on fresh leads and follow-ups to generate walk-ins.- Monitor the team's adherence to calling scripts, lead hygiene, and CRM updation.- Optimize lead allocation, reduce lead leakage, and ensure timely follow-ups.- Work closely with store teams for appointment confirmations, customer updates, and conversion tracking.Quality & Compliance- Conduct regular quality audits of calls to maintain service standards.- Provide continuous feedback to improve pitch, tone, and conversion efficiency.- Ensure team compliance with process, documentation, and reporting guidelines.Reporting & Analysis- Prepare accurate daily/weekly reports on call metrics, lead status, walk-ins, and sales outcomes.- Analyse call performance trends and implement action plans for underperforming team members.Requirements- Mandatory: Prior experience managing 15-20 telecallers in an outbound sales or call-centre environment.- Strong understanding of digital leads, telesales funnels, and walk-in generation models.- Excellent communication, motivation, and people-management skills.- Proficiency in English + at least one South Indian language (Kannada/Telugu/Tamil/Malayalam).- Comfortable working with high call-volume operations and aggressive sales targets.- Experience in retail telesales or lifestyle products preferred (ref:updazz.com)
