Designation: Team Lead - SQL DBA

Experience: (4 +Years relevant) Less than 4 years will not entertain

Qualification: Any degree / Diploma

Location: Bengaluru

Roles and Responsalility

Lead and mentor a team of SQL DBAs Manage SQL Server installations, upgrades, and configurations Monitor and optimize database performance Implement and maintain HA/DR solutions (AlwaysOn, Replication, Log Shipping) Ensure database security and compliance (permissions, audits, policies) Plan and execute backups and disaster recovery testing Automate routine maintenance and monitoring tasks Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams Document systems, procedures, and create technical reports Handle escalated issues and coordinate resolutions Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server instances (on-prem and cloud) Optimize T-SQL queries, indexes, and database structures for high performance Conduct regular backup and restore testing Perform audits and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc. Use encryption, auditing, and alerting to safeguard sensitive data
