Position Statement / Purpose:


Team Leader will lead team by overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team within the organization. Primary objective will be to ensure that the team achieves its goals and meets the required performance standards. This role shall drive through cautious approach and need to play a crucial role in guiding, motivating, and developing team members to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to the team's success.

Key Deliverables (Key Result Areas):

Managing and guiding the QA team Setting quality standards, developing QA strategies, coordinating with different team for issue closure Reviewing team work & sharing feedback Ensuring team adherence to processes Identifying and resolving QA issues Communicating with stakeholders, and continuously improving the QA process Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities ():

Managing and guiding the QA team:

o Manage the entire shift with allocated QA's for Zones. Forecast Staffing and Scheduling of activities for the team. Managing Attrition and Absenteeism of the team. Manage/ identify material (Hardware and Software) on the floor as per requirement and raise it to the Logistics team. Identify Technical or IT related constraints if any and raise it to QA Manager.

Setting quality standards, developing QA strategies, coordinating with different team for issue closure:

o Help delivering 100% SLA. Maintain and continuously improve the Service Quality of the Process.

Reviewing team work & sharing feedback:

o Reviewing teams work and sharing feedback for improvement with the team: Mentor and support team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing regular feedback. Conduct monthly One-On-Ones and Annual PMS for the team.

Ensuring team adherence to processes:

o Accountable for team & people management, workload planning, process adherence and building team capability.

Identifying and resolving QA issues:

o Resolving Internal complaints, challenges that are raised by Team Members. Act as a point of escalation for complex issues and provide solutions or escalate to higher management.

Communicating with stakeholders, and continuously improving the QA process:

o Communication with stakeholders. Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement of Team/ Process. Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs for team members.

Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills:

o Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers (If required). Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance team performance and competitiveness.

Measure the overall productivity of the team in terms of tasks completed, projects delivered, or goals achieved.

Quality of the work:

Assess the quality of the work produced by the team, considering factors like accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to standards.

Monitor employee satisfaction, engagement, and team dynamics to ensure a positive and motivated work environment.

Employee Development:

Track the progress of team members' professional growth and skill development through training, mentoring, and performance reviews.

Meeting Deadlines:

To ensure that projects and tasks are completed within set deadlines.

Conflict Resolution:

To address and resolve conflicts within the team in a constructive and timely manner.

Resource Utilization:

To efficiently manages available resources, such as time, budget, and manpower.

Employee Retention:

Monitor the rate of employee turnover within the team to gauge the team leader's ability to retain talent.

Innovation and Problem-Solving:

Fostering innovation, creative problem-solving, and continuous improvement within the team.

Background:

Education:

Graduates- Any stream or equivalent

Experience:

QA Knowledge and Experience of 3 or more years of independently handling the team Domain knowledge - QA Knowledge /Any one of BFSI/Ecommerce/Automotive/Fintech/Payment wallet Demonstrated experience in achieving desired Service Quality/Client SLAs/Customer Satisfaction (VOC) Proven experience in a leadership role, demonstrating strong organizational and decision-making skills. Proficient in using relevant software and tools to track team performance and manage projects.

Behavioural/Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage and motivate the team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism. Sound knowledge of the industry, market trends, and best practices related to the team's area of work. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Leadership:

Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring clear communication of objectives and expectations. * Motivate and inspire team members, so that they can deliver beyond all constraints. Lead team building activities. Resolve team conflicts if any.
