Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and performance-driven Team Lead - Loan Sales to oversee and manage a team of loan sales executives. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in loan sales--personal loans, business loans, home loans, or similar--and possess strong leadership and customer relationship management skills. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, mentoring your team, ensuring excellent customer experience, and achieving business growth targets in a dynamic financial services environment.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in frontline loan sales and is now ready to step into a team management position with accountability for team performance, sales conversion, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of loan sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
  • Drive loan sales performance across multiple loan products such as personal loans, business loans, LAP, or credit cards.
  • Monitor and analyze individual and team KPIs to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and motivation to team members to enhance productivity and sales conversion.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution of queries and grievances.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to expand the customer base and improve loan disbursement volumes.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as operations, credit, and risk to ensure smooth processing and timely disbursement of loans.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and lead conversions in CRM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, credit guidelines, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
  • Identify process gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
  • Represent the company in promotional activities, lead-generation events, and partnerships to increase brand visibility and market reach.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring every client interaction reflects trust and professionalism.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in loan sales, preferably in personal, business, or home loans.
  • Proven experience handling sales targets and achieving or exceeding goals.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, sales processes, and financial documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience mentoring or supervising a small sales team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital sales tools.
  • Knowledge of KYC norms, compliance guidelines, and loan processing workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
