Job Location: Bangalore

Position Overview

This position is responsible for managing process governance and ensuring data integrity for supplier master data. This position will be responsible for defining and enforcing policies and procedures for managing data, including data quality and data security. The Supplier Master Data Management Lead will manage a team responsible for executing the process of collecting, storing, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on suppliers.

This position reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement Operations will support the transformation of Procurement to a centralized data driven function with connected processes, efficient operations, effective governance, and trusted data.

Key Duties:

  • Manage supplier master database(s) for all 3rd party suppliers across all regions of Baxter.
  • Manage a master data team responsible for creating and maintaining supplier records in a timely manner consistent with policies and guidelines.
  • Support development and maintenance of the governance model including policies, processes, and data for efficiently and effectively managing supplier data and for ensuring compliance to policies and standards across Baxter globally.
  • Develop and implement processes for data accuracy such as data quality checks and data audits.
  • Support all governance activities involving Supplier Master ownership including data security and cleansing periodically.
  • Define, monitor and measure KPIs for compliance to policies and quality of the supplier master data, in collaboration with the data & analytics team.
  • Support development and execution of systems strategy and roadmap for supplier lifecycle management including master data.
  • Lead user acceptance testing for new system enhancements and implementations, system maintenance, approval flows and integrations.
  • Coordinating with SOX and Internal Audit teams to file timely audit compliance for the observations.
  • Manage the daily activities of direct reports and ensures continuous improvement and development of the team.
  • Develop and deploy training to ensure stakeholder compliance to data governance policies and best practices
  • Documentation \xe2\x80\x93 Creation and maintenance of guidelines, training materials and SOP\xe2\x80\x99s.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree.
  • 6 to 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant business and people management experience in Procurement or Supply Chain discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge in Supplier Management best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes and systems.
  • Experience with Master Data systems Sharepoint / Syndigo/JDE/GME
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests and expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a Global environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
  • Proven history of managing complex master data initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong capacity to work through diverse challenges with a calm and thoughtful approach.
  • Demonstrate leadership when collaborating with others. Excellent communication skills, including listening skills, are at the foundation of all good relationships and a pre-requisite to be successful in this role.
