The Team Lead will oversee/supervise a specialized dynamic team responsible for supporting real estate loan monitoring, loan servicing, and lender advisory deliverables with an emphasis on construction/development monitoring. This dual-role position combines leadership with hands-on processing responsibilities and will involve mentorship and quality assurance oversight contributing to client deliverables. The role includes validation and interpretation of data related to construction budgets, draw requests, project schedules, loan agreements, and cost-to-complete analysis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of analysts to deliver high-quality, timely loan monitoring reports and lender advisory services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in loan servicing and construction draw review, providing guidance and training to team members.
  • Manage workflow, prioritize project timelines, and ensure all deliverables meet client and internal quality standards.
  • Collaborate with global teams and client service leads to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
  • Review project-level budgets, schedules, and draw requests; ensure alignment with lender requirements and development milestones.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for loan monitoring services.
  • Prepare or validate cash flow models and cost-to-complete analyses in Argus Estate Master Development Management software.
  • Ensure compliance with loan documents and funding agreements through rigorous data checks and audit processes.
  • Maintain accuracy of internal databases used for lender advisory and project monitoring.
  • Continuously update team knowledge regarding construction lending, risk management, and real estate finance best practices.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, ensuring productivity and quality metrics are achieved.
Key Qualifications:
  • 6-9 years of experience in a Team Lead or supervisory role, preferably in real estate loan monitoring, construction finance, or commercial real estate services.
  • Educational background in Finance, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of construction lending, real estate underwriting, and loan agreement structures.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, VLOOKUP, etc.); experience with Argus Enterprise/cost-tracking systems is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret leases, loan documents, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to explain complex financial or technical information to internal project leads and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High degree of integrity, accountability, and professionalism with the ability to take initiative.
