Reporting to the Manager- Delivery, the Team Lead will oversee a dynamic team demonstrating experience in (but not limited to) Tax, Lease Review and data analysis. As a Team Lead, you will ensure operational efficiency and excellent delivery by a team of analysts with the Global Service Center. The person will be responsible for the collection, management, and organization of commercial real estate tax data, which is to be used for handling various tax services. In addition to the CRE Property Tax experience, the team lead and their team will have visibility to and participate in our Altus Group services offerings that may include Valuation, Cost, and other commercial real estate Intelligence as a Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all needed deliveries of the team are of high quality and on time.
  • Leading the team by example of focused effort, collaboration, and a winning culture.
  • Performing to KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and ensuring all team members are utilized effectively.
  • Working with other team members and stakeholders to continually improve process and expand deliverables from GSC Team.
  • Work with other teams in the company to build efficient interfaces and strong collaboration.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Manage CRE Assessment, Appeal, Lease and Tax bill workflow.
  • Perform advanced research for Real Estate properties.
  • Calculate the proportionate tax share for the client properties.
  • Complete periodic comparisons of analysis files to analyze impacts and attribute variances.
  • Continuously upgrading the level of knowledge regarding Property Tax and Lease Review analysis.
  • Accurately completing time sheets on a daily basis ensuring non-billable time and recoverable expenses are clearly outlined.
Key Qualifications:
  • Prior Team Lead and/or people management experience.
  • Work experience preferably in CRE Property Tax and Finance.
  • Real estate background, specifically Commercial Real Estate Tax review experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills\xe2\x80\x94written, verbal, and oral presentation.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables, Etc.)
  • Excellent research, quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to deliver expectations of the team and manage to be desired outcomes.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and be resourceful.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and ethics.
