, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and innovation across assignments. The Team Lead will act as the point of coordination between the Director and the team, overseeing workload distribution, daily/weekly progress tracking, and client-facing outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of junior GIS teachnicians in data digitization, spatial analysis, and map production.
Oversee preparation of GIS deliverables including datasets, thematic maps, and geospatial reports.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and standardization across projects.
Supervise drone data processing, spatial database management, and integration with planning/GIS workflows.
Provide daily/weekly updates to the Director on workload, progress, and team performance.
Represent the company during client site visits, presentations, and technical discussions.
Support quality assurance, innovation, and continuous improvement in GIS workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
Master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics or related field.
3-6 years of professional experience in GIS/Remote Sensing with demonstrated team leadership exposure.
Strong technical skills in ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS, ENVI, or similar platforms.
Experience in handling large datasets, spatial analysis, and cartographic design.
Knowledge of drone data processing, is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to manage client interactions.
Willingness to travel for surveys, data validation, and client site work.
