Lead day-to-day driver operations, ensuring smooth scheduling, attendance, and fleet utilization.
Manage
driver recruitment, onboarding, and training
to meet business requirements.
Monitor driver performance using KPIs such as on-time deliveries, route adherence, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Handle driver engagement, grievances, and retention initiatives to reduce attrition.
Ensure drivers comply with
safety standards, licenses, insurance, and company policies
.
Utilize telematics, GPS, and dash-cam data to improve driver behavior and safety.
Coordinate with
maintenance, logistics planning, and technology teams
to resolve operational issues quickly.
Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, driver productivity, and incident tracking for management.
Drive
continuous improvement initiatives
to optimize costs, reduce downtime, and enhance efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree (preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field).
3-6 years
of experience in driver/fleet operations, logistics, or last-mile delivery.
Proven
team management
experience, handling large groups of drivers/operators.
Strong understanding of scheduling, fleet utilization, and logistics KPIs.
Familiarity with telematics/GPS/dash-cam tools will be an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a
fast-paced, high-pressure
environment.
Experience in
EV fleet operations
will be a strong plus.
