We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack ColdFusion Lead role requiring 8+ years of experience coupled with proven technical leadership and mentorship capabilities. The core function demands mastery of CFML, OOP, and robust MVC frameworks (like ColdBox, FW/1), alongside advanced database tuning and RESTful API development. Success hinges on exceptional diagnostic skills and architectural oversight, ensuring high-performance enterprise applications. Experience with migration (Adobe to Lucee), React.js knowledge, and CI/CD practices is considered desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade, high-performance web applications using ColdFusion and Lucee, integrating modern frontend technologies like React.js. Drive initiatives to migrate legacy Adobe ColdFusion applications to the Lucee platform, ensuring seamless transition, compatibility, and performance optimization. Guide, mentor, and coach a team of developers, performing rigorous code reviews and enforcing best practices and coding standards. Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather complex requirements, define technical specifications, and manage project lifecycles. Oversee performance optimization for existing applications and new feature development, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability. Develop and integrate backend systems with frontend interfaces and third-party services using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, and XML data formats.

Required Skills

8+ years of extensive experience in Full Stack ColdFusion development, including proven technical leadership or team management roles. Primary Skills: Deep expertise in CFML, CFCs, SQL, and related web technologies (HTML5,CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery). Advanced experience in architecting, designing, and leading the development of highly scalable and complex enterprise-level applications, applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and robust MVC frameworks (e.g., ColdBox, FW/1). Mastery in hands-on development, optimization, and maintenance of critical web applications using CFML. This includes deep proficiency in database performance tuning, complex SQL query optimization, and schema design for relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL. Extensive experience in designing, developing, and consuming complex RESTful APIs and SOAP web services using JSON and XML data formats. Proven experience in migrating legacy ColdFusion applications to modern platforms, including migration experience from Adobe ColdFusion to Lucee server environments. Strong capability in modern frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery,and Ajax. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js, is required. Expert knowledge of code version control tools like Git or SVN. Experience in driving and implementing modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principles. Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for highly complex, mission-critical issues in production environments. Eagerness to debug and ensure maximum application uptime and performance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill. Ability to gather complex requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and translate sophisticated business needs into robust technical deliverables. A proactive attitude towards learning, evaluating, and adapting to new technologies, industry trends and driving continuous process improvements.

Nice to Have:
