Job Description

A Team Lead in the travel process oversees a team of travel consultants, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and tailor-made travel solutions while achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include leading, motivating, and developing the team, implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance, and managing escalations. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Leading, managing, and motivating a team of travel consultants. Setting team goals and objectives, and monitoring progress towards them. Providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members. Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback. Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Sales and Customer Service:

Developing and implementing effective sales strategies. Ensuring team members provide excellent customer service. Handling customer inquiries and resolving escalated issues. Analyzing sales metrics and identifying areas for improvement. Meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Operational Management:

Overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow. Managing team schedules and attendance. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Managing and distributing work to team members. Monitoring team performance and taking corrective action as needed.

Communication and Collaboration:

Maintaining effective communication with team members, other departments, and clients. Facilitating communication between team members and management. Collaborating with other teams to achieve company goals.

Training and Development:

Identifying training needs and developing training programs. Mentoring and coaching team members to improve their skills. Conducting regular training sessions to enhance team knowledge and performance.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

Identifying and resolving problems related to team performance or customer service. Making sound decisions under pressure. Analyzing data and identifying trends to improve team performance.

Other:

Managing team budgets and expenses. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Ensuring the team adheres to company policies and procedures. Safeguarding customer information and maintaining data security.
