Overview:
The Team Lead- Analytics will be a core member of the eClinical Solutions R&D team. The Team Lead- Analytics will be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle such as perform complex analysis, architect, design, develop, data modelling, reviewing functional and mapping specifications and support of Qlik Sense applications.
Also, ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 3-5 software developers.
- High level of collaboration with US counterparts and responsible for majority of Analytics deliverables.
- Performs complex analysis, design, develop, test plans, testing, debugging, modification and support of Qlik Sense applications.
- Knowledge on data modelling concepts.
- Provides advanced troubleshooting for Qlik Sense.
- Knowledge on Qlik Sense deployment process using Qlik Management Console.
- Research solutions to various business and technical problems, search alternatives, present recommendations with justification.
- Ensure analytics work done is validated through Unit testing and produce quality output.
- Experience in Qlik Sense Extension development and its best practices is a plus.
- Develop, implement and oversee analytics processes including onboarding and training plan for analytics resources.
- Strong Team Management skills.
- Work prioritization, work allocation and resource utilization.
- Defining and implementing the KPI\xe2\x80\x99s for evaluating the team performance.
- Managing performance and growth plans of team members, working with them to develop and implement individual career development plans.
- Evaluation and selection process for freshers and lateral hires.
- Mentoring team members to promote and champion best practice Analytics development techniques.
- Ensure compliance with eClinical Solutions/industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures.
- Through understanding of Clinical research life cycle and Clinical Data standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- B Tech / M Tech / Master of Science degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Professional Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years in business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Thorough experience in Qlik Sense architecture, design, develop, test and deployment process.
- Thorough understanding of Qlik Sense best practices (re-usability, efficiency, optimization).
- Knowledge on Clinical Datasets and Standards is a plus. (eg: SDTM, CDISC(92,45,101), Q Format, Customized Data formats ..etc).
- Excellent understanding of relational database concepts, data modelling, and design.
- Excellent knowledge on writing SQL code and ETL procedures using MS-SQL Server.
- Strong Software Development Lifecycle experience (Agile methodology experience is a plus).
- Strong technical project management experience and team leadership skills including scope management, work planning and work delegation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and use of defect/feature management systems.

Technical Skills & Experience
- 5+ years business intelligence experience (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
- 4+ years of experience in Qlik Sense architecture and design.
- 4+ years of experience in develop, test and deploy of Qlik Sense applications.
- 3+ years with SQL Server and ETL process.
- 5+ years with Data Modelling (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake etc
- 3+ years with SDTM mapping
- Knowledge of clinical trial data and SDTM standards is preferred
