The Team Lead - AR Analyst will oversee the accounts receivable team within the healthcare revenue cycle. The TL will ensure timely and accurate processing of AR activities, optimize collection processes, mentor and guide team members, and act as a point of escalation for complex billing and collection issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the AR analyst team to achieve departmental goals and KPIs.
Monitor daily AR activities, including claim follow-ups, denials, and payment postings.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding AR and improve cash flow.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
Review complex accounts and escalated cases, providing resolutions efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments (billing, coding, compliance) to resolve discrepancies.
Prepare AR reports and present insights to management.
Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance standards and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of experience in healthcare AR/RCM processes, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of insurance claims, denials, and billing procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in healthcare management systems and MS Office tools.
