Title: Team Lead, Accounts Payable
Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose
:
This role is crucial for managing the accounts payable function for the Europe region
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing a team, and driving process improvements
Responsibilities
:
Operations:
Ensuring accurate and timely service delivery to the business and managing escalated supplier/customer inquiries
Reviewing vendor accounts and payment proposals, as well as ensuring compliance with tax policies (TDS, GST, etc.)
Creating and reviewing MIS reports, tracking performance using tools like dashboards and KPIs, and resolving audit queries promptly
Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and actively leading standardization and improvement projects
Collaborating with Business Partners and IT to implement solutions and assess the impact of new projects on current processes
Creating wireframes for the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Dashboard project
People Management:
Conducting performance reviews, providing ongoing feedback, and leading talent reviews and competency assessments
Implementing training programs, fostering a coaching culture, and actively participating in team-building activities
Onboarding new employees and developing backup plans to ensure continuity
Required Qualifications:
Inter CA/ Masters of Commerce/ MBA Finance
Minimum 8-10 Years of Experience in Finance function
Minimum 2 year experience in Accounts Payable operations and experience with people management
Experience in project management and process improvement
