Job Description

Qualification ? Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production /

Manufacturing Engineering.

? 5-7 years of production experience, with at least 2-3 years in a

supervisory/team lead role.

? Hands-on experience in consumer durable / kitchen appliances

industry preferred.

? Knowledge of production processes, basic quality systems, and lean

concepts.

? Strong people-handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.

? Ability to work in shifts and thrive in a fast-paced production

environment.

Key Responsibilities Team Supervision & Leadership:

Supervise and guide a team of operators and technicians to achieve
daily production targets.

Foster a disciplined, safe, and motivating work environment on the shop
floor.

Provide on-the-job training and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Production Execution & Control:

Execute daily/weekly production schedules as planned by the Head -
Production.

Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials. Monitor workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and maintain smooth line
operations.

Quality & Process Adherence:

Ensure products meet company quality standards and specifications. Support quality audits and assist in implementing corrective actions. Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Cost & Resource Management:

Monitor material usage and reduce wastage. Ensure tools, equipment, and machines are maintained properly. Report any process gaps or improvement opportunities to senior
management.

Safety & Compliance:

Promote safe work practices and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Report and act on potential hazards immediately. Participate in safety awareness programs and training.
