Job Description

Qualification ? Diploma / Bachelor's in Mechanical / Production Engineering.

? 5-8 years of production experience in precision machining (CNC,

turning, finishing).

? At least 2-3 years in a supervisory / team lead capacity.

? Strong knowledge of CNC programming basics, tooling, cutting

parameters, and finishing processes.

? Exposure to quality tools (SPC, CMM, Gauge handling, GD&T).

? Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

? Ability to work under tight tolerances and high customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and supervise production teams on CNC machines, turning, and
finishing lines.

Ensure workforce discipline, training, and motivation to meet
production standards.

Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and support skill development of
operators.

Production Planning & Execution:

Execute daily/weekly production plans as per schedule. Ensure optimal utilization of CNC machines, manpower, and resources. Monitor cycle times, reduce machine idle time, and meet delivery
commitments.

Quality Assurance & Precision Control:

Ensure all components meet dimensional accuracy, tolerance, and
surface finish requirements.

Work closely with the Quality department for in-process checks, SPC,
and final inspections.

Drive defect reduction, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Process & Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times
and rework.

Support initiatives in lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machine reliability and
uptime.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols on the shop floor. Promote safe handling of machines, tools, and measuring instruments. Maintain compliance with ISO/TS standards and customer
requirements.
