East Point College of Engineering& Technology is looking for Teaching Faculty - Computer Engineering

Experience Required:

5-15 Years

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering or related field

M.Tech/Ph.D. in relevant specialization Mandate

Position Levels:

Associate Professor

Assistant Professor

Specializations Required:

Computer Science Engineering (CSE)

Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS)

Internet of Things (IoT)

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML)

:

1. Teaching and Academic Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures and conduct classes in specialized subjects including but not limited to IoT, AI & ML, and Data Science.

Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and curriculum to enhance student learning.

Evaluate and assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and projects.

Guide and mentor students in their academic and research endeavors.

2. Research and Development:

Engage in research activities and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of IoT, AI, and Data Science.

Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.

Collaborate with industry partners and other academic institutions on research projects.

3. Administrative and Leadership Roles (for Professor & HOD):

Oversee the Computer Engineering Department and manage departmental activities.

Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.

Participate in academic and administrative committees at the university level.

Facilitate faculty development and training programs.

4. Industry and Community Engagement:

Foster relationships with industry stakeholders to align academic programs with current industry needs.

Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote the institution and its programs.

5. Qualifications & Skills:

For Professor & HOD: A strong academic background with a Ph.D. and a proven track record of research, publications, and leadership in the field.

For Associate Professor: A relevant Ph.D. degree or significant research experience and academic contributions.

For Assistant Professor: A Masters degree (M.Tech) with relevant industry or research experience is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation:

The scale of pay for this position will be as per the University Regulations/Norms.
