Assistant Teacher Job Responsibilities

Classroom Support

- Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining discipline.

Student Assistance

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help with lessons or assignments.

Lesson Preparation

- Help in preparing teaching materials, visual aids, and classroom resources.

Grading & Evaluation Support

- Assist in checking homework, tests, and maintaining student performance records.

Supervision Duties

- Supervise students during recess, lunch, field trips, and other school activities to ensure safety and proper behavior.

Classroom Organization

- Help keep the classroom clean, organized, and conducive to learning.

Communication & Collaboration

- Work closely with the lead teacher and school staff, and communicate with parents when required.
