The ideal candidate will assist in managing live and onsite sessions, coordinate with faculty and students, support classroom logistics, and provide basic administrative and admissions-related assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support & Customer Service
Serve as the first point of contact for student inquiries and provide courteous, timely assistance.
Direct students to appropriate campus resources such as academic advising, IT support, or administrative offices.
Provide general information about university policies, schedules, and program requirements.
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for students and visitors.
Instructional & Faculty Support
Assist instructors with class setup, attendance tracking, and distribution of learning materials.
Support classroom operations including equipment setup and ensuring instructional spaces are organized and functional.
Provide guidance to on-ground students during class sessions or study hours as needed.
Technology & LMS Assistance
Learn and become proficient in USGU's Metaapply Learning Management System (LMS) to assist students with login, navigation, and course access issues.
Troubleshoot basic LMS-related questions and escalate complex issues to the IT or Academic Support teams.
Monitor student participation and support faculty with LMS activity tracking when requested.
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with data entry, attendance records, and communication logs.
Support university events, orientations, and student workshops.
Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with FERPA and institutional policies.
