Job Description

Elixir Learning Academy & Multi Specialty Therapy Center started in 2009 to cater the need of the society by extending its services to children in and around Chennai. It brings a collaborative approach in handling problems of children with ADHD, Hyperactivity, Slow learner, Learning Disability etc.

Support for Teachers

Liaise with special educator in advance of lessons to discuss schemes of work, lesson plans, learning objectives and the type of support to be offered to the pupils.

Assist the special educator with the preparation of appropriate learning materials for specific SEN pupils.

Assist special educator in enabling effective learning to take place with SEN pupils.

Maintain appropriate records of work and pupil progress as required by the SENCo.

Support for the Curriculum (Functional & Domestic skills)

Check homework has been understood, recorded and completed on time.

Assist with external and internal assessment for those pupils who are entitled to special access arrangements by acting as a reader, scribe or invigilator.

Develop knowledge and expertise in the subject area.

Undertake a specific area of responsibility within the subject area, where appropriate.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
