Job Description

To create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children aged 2 to 6 years, while promoting a love for learning through play-based and activity-driven teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the curriculum. Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. Foster a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues. Assess and document children's progress, development, and learning outcomes. Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, written reports, and informal updates. Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and positive behavior in the classroom. Integrate storytelling, music, art, and hands-on activities into daily instruction. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required. Maintain classroom hygiene and safety standards. Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and school staff to ensure holistic development of each child.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Training, or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a pre-primary or early years setting (freshers with training may be considered). Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written). Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Creative, energetic, and flexible teaching style. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively. Knowledge of child development principles and early years pedagogy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Montessori or early childhood education frameworks. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, digital learning tools). First Aid and Child Safety certification (optional but beneficial).
