Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (Grades 8 to 12). The candidate must be well-versed with the curriculum and capable of making complex concepts understandable and engaging for students preparing for board exams and competitive entrance tests.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics to Grades 8 - 12 using effective, engaging teaching methods. Prepare lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and assessment standards. Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and evaluate students' performance. Clarify doubts and offer extra support to students needing remedial teaching. Prepare students for board exams, Olympiads, and entrance exams Maintain student records, progress reports, and attendance. Communicate regularly with parents about student performance. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Incorporate technology (smart boards, apps, etc.) into teaching when needed. Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./M.Sc. Math). B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching senior classes. Strong command over English and subject knowledge. Familiarity with board exam patterns and competitive exam syllabi.
