The faculty will teach

Geopolitics, International Relations, Current Affairs, Indian History & World History

using a

simple, humorous, storytelling-based approach


The aim is to make complex political and historical concepts extremely easy and engaging for students preparing for

UPSC, State PCS, SSC, Defence Exams, CUET, Boards, and General Knowledge programs

.

A. Teaching - Geopolitics & International Relations



Explain global conflicts and diplomatic relations in simple language. Cover topics such as: Russia-Ukraine war Middle East geopolitics US-China rivalry India-China border issues BRICS, G20, UN reforms World economy, energy politics, climate geopolitics Integrate

maps, diagrams, analogies, humor

, and storytelling to simplify topics.

B. Teaching - Current Affairs (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)



Teach current events deeply: background, causes, impact, future implications. Analyse national & international news from: The Hindu Indian Express BBC Al Jazeera Foreign Policy, ORF, etc. Prepare: Current affairs notes Infographics Editorial summaries MCQs & descriptive answer frameworks

C. Teaching - History (Ancient, Medieval, Modern & World History)Indian History



Prehistoric cultures, Indus Valley Civilization Vedic Age, Mahajanapadas, Mauryan & Gupta Empires Delhi Sultanate, Mughal Empire Maratha & regional kingdoms British colonization, revolts, national movement Freedom struggle, partition, post-independence developments

World History



French Revolution, American Revolution Industrial Revolution World Wars I & II Rise of USA, USSR & modern world order Decolonization, Cold War, NATO, EU Middle East & global events shaping modern geopolitics
Teaching Style Expectations:

Storytelling, humour, dramatic explanation Timeline charts, maps, visuals Connecting historical events with modern geopolitics Easy examples for students of all levels

D. Content Creation & Classroom Tools



Prepare: Notes in simple language Map-based explanations Timeline charts & flowcharts PPTs and board work like Khan Sir (practical, humorous, simple) Create MCQs, practice sheets, sample answers, and mock tests.

E. Student Mentorship



Conduct test discussions, doubt sessions, revision marathons. Mentor students in answer writing for UPSC/PCS. Teach how to integrate news with static history/IR concepts. Encourage students to develop analytical thinking.

3. Skills & Competencies Required



Strong command over: Indian & World History Geopolitics & International Relations Current Affairs & Global Events Excellent storytelling ability; humour and desi examples preferred. Ability to simplify tough topics (Khan Sir-style clarity). Strong Hindi/Hinglish communication skills. Ability to use maps, diagrams, and visuals effectively. Knowledge of UPSC/competitive exam patterns highly preferred.

4. Qualifications



Graduate or Postgraduate in: History Political Science International Relations Public Policy Geography Journalism / Mass Communication or related fields Candidates with UPSC experience (Mains, Interview, Optional background) preferred. Teaching experience desirable.

Energetic, humorous, expressive teaching personality. Passion for history, global affairs, and learning. Ability to hold student attention for long hours. Strong storytelling, analogy-building, and simple explanation skills. Consistent learner with interest in daily news and historic research.
