experienced and skilled Cutting & Tailoring Teacher
to provide hands-on vocational training to trainees under skill development programs. The instructor will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical knowledge in garment cutting, stitching, and finishing techniques, ensuring trainees achieve employable skills or are ready for self-employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct practical and theory classes in
Cutting & Tailoring
as per approved curriculum.
Train students in
pattern making, fabric cutting, stitching, fitting, and finishing
.
Demonstrate use of
sewing machines (manual & electric)
and tailoring tools.
Guide trainees in making garments such as
salwar suits, blouses, kurtis, trousers, and basic designer wear
.
Maintain training records, attendance, and trainee progress reports.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of training equipment and machines.
Prepare trainees for
assessments, certification, and self-employment opportunities
.
Follow safety, hygiene, and quality standards in the training lab.
