Work you\'ll do
As an Assistant Manager in our Tax team you\'ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will:
\xef\x82\xb7 Adhering to clients\' GST compliance timelines as per statute (assessments, filing of returns, etc.) \xef\x82\xb7 Provide GST services to a range of clients working closely with multidisciplinary tax teams. \xef\x82\xb7 Carrying out comprehensive GST incidence reviews for the clients. \xef\x82\xb7 Perform GST reviews as part of Internal Audit engagements \xef\x82\xb7 Assist internal and external contacts on GST related queries. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordination with the department for obtaining approvals, registrations, etc. \xef\x82\xb7 Helping with audits or investigation by the tax authorities \xef\x82\xb7 Complete identified number of GST returns on a timely basis. \xef\x82\xb7 Preparation, filing and processing of refunds \xef\x82\xb7 Address all queries raised in respect of GST returns submitted and liaise with line Managers accordingly. \xef\x82\xb7 Assisting in the implementation of recommendations. \xef\x82\xb7 Perform GST audits \xef\x82\xb7 Extensive research on various critical aspects of GST Laws. \xef\x82\xb7 Benchmarking against industry preferred practice to identify new ways of helping to reduce GST incidence and capturing permanent cash flow benefits \xef\x82\xb7 Research technical issues \xef\x82\xb7 Rendering business advisory services to clients under GST Laws \xef\x82\xb7 Participate in planning, developing and implementing GST strategies to optimize tax incidence \xef\x82\xb7 Dealing with technical enquiries relating to GST
Qualifications
\xef\x82\xb7 CA with 0-2 year Experience in Indirect Taxation
\xef\x82\xb7 Team player
\xef\x82\xb7 Effective communication and presentation skills
