This Position reports to:


TAX MANAGER

Your role and responsibilities:


Identifying tax planning opportunities and risks of non- compliance, proposes measures to mitigate tax risks .


Providing support and input to various projects and initiatives, including project risk reviews, contract structures .


Supports development and implementation of relevant standards, processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of corporate tax matters in own area of responsibility


Facilitating knowledge transfer, training activities and best practice sharing in the defined tax practice area


Responsible for all tax accounting and reporting activities within the scope of own tax practice/area Liaises with Tax Authorities and similar in negotiations/dealings regionally/locally in tax policy matters within defined tax practice (including transfer pricing for goods and services, contracting business, mergers and acquisitions, intra-group arrangements, tax accounting and reporting, HR taxes, indirect taxes, financing and tax litigation/planning projects)


Qualifications for the role


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce


5-8 years of relevant experience in direct taxation Accountancy knowledge with a tax background or vice versa


Proficiency in working with MS Office and solid SAP knowledge
