Purpose of the Role:
A Tax Manager oversees all tax functions for a company, ensuring compliance with laws by preparing/reviewing returns, developing tax strategies to minimize liabilities, managing audits, advising leadership, and staying updated on regulations, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in corporate tax laws and accounting principles. Key duties involve strategy, compliance, planning, risk management, and team leadership, with responsibilities covering direct/indirect taxes, mergers/acquisitions, and international tax issues includes monthly tax remittances for Both India and APAC - DT and IDT
Primary Requirements
Incumbent candidate must have hands on in the following criteria.
a. Direct Tax : Monthly TDS remittance / Cross border documentation filing / Quarterly returns filing / form 16A issuance / working on various other tax requirements including Tax assessment data Collation, preparation, and finalisation
b. Indirect Tax : Monthly GST Remittance / File preparation / Matching with IMS and GSTr2b / filing of GSTr6/6A -ISD / working on various other tax requirements including Tax assessment data Collation, preparation, and finalisation
c. APAC Regions Direct and Indirect tax review and finalisation and assistance for remittance.
d. Advisory Roles for tax guidance.
