About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Executive with strong expertise in TDS compliance. The role involves managing end-to-end TDS obligations, including deduction, payment, return filing, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and confident in handling departmental communications and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

A. TDS Compliance

Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS under applicable sections

Preparation & filing of quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.)

Issue and reconcile TDS certificates (Form 16 & 16A)

Track TDS amendments & apply changes in compliance processes

B. Review & Reconciliation

Reconcile TDS with books of accounts & Form 26AS

Monthly review of TDS ledgers vs challans vs 26AS

Identify mismatches or pending challans & resolve

C. Representation

Draft replies to TDS-related departmental queries, notices & intimations

Coordinate with tax authorities during assessments

D. Client & Team Coordination

Collect data from clients & prepare TDS workings

Guide trainees/associates on TDS return preparation

Maintain compliance calendar to avoid defaults

Required Candidate Profile

Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred)

Experience: 3+ years in TDS compliance & direct tax processes

Skills: Strong knowledge of TDS provisions, e-filing, reconciliations, 26AS, TRACES portal, Excel
