Background

Our tax automation team works closely with clients and client facing teams to build automation solutions for client use cases. The team is a separate vertical within Tax and has tremendous growth opportunities. The team is led by Senior Tax and Technology professionals with significant experience in Consulting firms

We are looking for professionals with experience on Alteryx to join the Tax automation team and build a strong career in this fast-growing field.

The opportunity is unique and will provide the candidate the experience to shape a long-term career in the technology consulting business.

• Primary skills - Alteryx
• Secondary skills Power BI & SQL
• The candidate will build tax applications for tax clients to automate complex processes in direct and indirect taxes.

• 2-5 years of professional experience in Alteryx
• Experience of developing Alteryx apps and gallery-oriented workflows.
• Must have working experience of SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of on one or more databases (SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.)
• Experience in Power BI dashboard development and administration
• Should be able to work independently with minimal support from other team members.
• Ability to research and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Certification in Alteryx and Power BI will be a plus
• Degree in commerce background is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must have good hands-on exposure to Alteryx
• Design, develop and support interactive Power BI Dashboard reports, with different data sources like SQL, Oracle, Excel etc.
• Person should know how to link Alteryx with ERP and other data sources
• Full understanding of the processes of data cleansing, data transformation and data quality using ETL tools like Alteryx and Power query.
• Able to write complex queries with multiple joins to automate/manipulate data with Alteryx.
• Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, excel modeling, preparing report and dashboards
• Will have to work in partnership with the other IT teams and stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes.

• BE/BTech degree in IT/Computer Science or BCA or BSc degree in Computer Science or any graduation degree with Analytics Course Certifications
