Job Summary

The Taping Operator will assist in insulation taping work for stator and rotor coils. Suitable for freshers with basic technical knowledge. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities1. Taping & Insulation Assistance

Support senior operators in insulation taping on coils. Learn taping techniques using mica tape, glass tape, and other insulation materials. Maintain proper tension, overlap, and uniformity during taping.

2. Quality Support

Check alignment, thickness, and smoothness of taped coils. Follow quality instructions and report defects immediately.

3. Machine & Tool Handling

Assist in operating taping machines and hand tools. Maintain basic machine cleanliness and support tool setup activities.

4. Material Handling

Handle insulation tapes and consumables safely. Assist in maintaining daily material requirements.

5. Safety & Housekeeping

Follow all safety rules for machines, chemicals, and insulation materials. Maintain clean and organized work area.

Qualification & Skills

Education:

ITI / Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical) or +2 with interest in manufacturing

Experience:

0-1 year (freshers encouraged) Willingness to learn coil taping processes Good hand-eye coordination Basic understanding of measurements is an advantage
