About the job:

Design and implement core features of the TAP platform, including developer tooling, build pipelines, and runtime environments. Contribute to the development of Kubernetes-native solutions and operator patterns. Collaborate with platform architects, DevOps, and application teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption. Integrate with CI/CD tools, container registries, and security scanning systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the TAP ecosystem. Contribute to the automation of platform deployment, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest ways to improve the platform's capabilities. Experience contributing to open-source projects, especially within the CNCF ecosystem. Familiarity with Tanzu ecosystem (TAP, TKG, TMC, etc.). Knowledge of platform engineering principles and internal developer platforms (IDPs). Understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environments. Familiarity with TAP components like Supply Chain Choreographer, Cartographer, and kpack is a plus. Experience with Git Ops practices and tools (Argo CD, Flux) is preferred. ###

About you:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Go, Java, or Python. Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architecture. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, or Concourse. Solid problem-solving and debugging skills. * Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
