Key Responsibilities
:
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori items such as naan, roti, kebabs, paneer tikka, etc.
Manage and operate the tandoor oven, ensuring appropriate temperature and cleanliness.
Ensure all food is prepared according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the cooking area and utensils.
Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
Requirements
:
Proven experience as a Tandoor Cook (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Familiarity with traditional tandoori cooking techniques.
Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and team-working skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and work with high heat.
