Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori items such as kebabs, tikkas, and naan in a traditional tandoor oven.
Ingredient preparation:
Marinate meats and vegetables, and prepare other ingredients and mise en placefor tandoor cooking.
Food quality and consistency:
Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure all dishes meet the required quality, presentation, and portion standards.
Hygiene and cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and organized tandoor station and kitchen area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Inventory and stock:
Assist in monitoring inventory, rotating stock, and reporting shortages of ingredients and supplies.
Team collaboration:
Work with senior chefs and the rest of the kitchen team, assisting with food preparation for special events and providing support during busy periods.
