Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
in a similar role in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
Basic knowledge of
Indian cuisine
, especially
tandoor cooking
(breads, kebabs, and tikkas).
Understanding of
tandoor operations
, temperature control, and marination techniques.
Familiarity with
food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP)
.
Ability to follow recipes, portion control, and plating standards accurately.
Skill in handling kitchen equipment and maintaining the tandoor oven.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn from senior chefs.
Physically fit to work long hours and in hot kitchen environments.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Maintains high standards of grooming and personal hygiene.
