. The ideal candidate should have at least
1 year of hands-on experience
in preparing tandoori dishes, maintaining hygiene, and working efficiently in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook tandoori items such as naan, roti, kebabs, tikkas, and other Indian grill items.
Ensure proper marination and cooking techniques are followed for consistency and taste.
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven and ensure it is cleaned and ready for use.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Maintain stock levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management.
Ensure timely preparation and presentation of food during service hours.
Work as a team player and support other sections when required.
Requirements:
Minimum
1 year of experience
in tandoor cooking (hotel or restaurant preferred)
Knowledge of Indian spices, marination, and grilling techniques
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
